The first month of 2019 is about to spill into February, so let me ask you–
Are you on your way to where you desire to be or is the thrill about gone?
If you’re already feeling like giving up, or not sure you have what it takes to see this thing through—whatever the thing is, you are not alone.
As I share in my new book, Dare to Begin Again, “An unavoidable truth is this, there will be bumps and bruises along life’s path. Some of them are unfair, uncalled for, unjustified. It stinks. I know. Sometimes things just don’t work out the way that we thought they would.
But, I have great news. It doesn’t have to stay that way. God is a God of new beginnings, and throughout the entire Bible we read about people who were stuck, disappointed, and faced impossible situations, people God freed.”
Growing up, I had athletic coaches who “made me run one more lap, do one more sit up, pushed me through exhaustion, one more time. Even when I was tired, fed up, or hurting, they wouldn’t let me quit.”
- Don’t give up.
- Keep pushing with your goal in mind.
- Find a group of like-minded friends who will cheer you toward success.
