Okay, so not my favorite morning appointment. Endogastroduodenoscopy…twenty two letters…imagine that on a spelling bee contest! Google it…yeah gross! The things we have to do even if we don’t want to. Ugg! This procedure would be on my list of things I would skip out on if I could, but I want to be healthy…and frankly live a long life.
How about you? Are there things you have to do but are dreading? Haven’t you heard, prevention is the best medicine?
“So here is the deal, your walk with Christ is super powerful and important, and it requires preventative maintenance.”
When you own a home there are pipes that need to be checked, filters that have to be replaced, gutters that need cleaning and yards that will need mowing (hopefully there’s a teenager you can pay). The benefit of homeownership comes with responsibility. Likewise, living a healthy life comes with preventative maintenance requirements (sigh).
So here is the deal, your walk with Christ is super powerful and important, and it requires preventative maintenance. Jesus is the living water that keeps us from being thirsty and spiritually dehydrated. So take some time to look around your spiritual life today. Are there some areas that need some attention? No day is better than today to Dare To Begin Again!
